The Ultimate Tiki Halloween Costume

28 October 2008 No Comment

I wanted to share a fantastic tiki costume from Maui Tiki Tours.  The link provides some basic instructions on how the author was able to build his own tiki halloween costume. It was built primarily with cheap wire fencing, PVC pipe, paper mache, and a few hula skirts.  The instructions suggest 3 to 4 weeks worth of evenings.

This one does require some considerable artistic skill but resulted in an impressive finished product.  As shown, the costume towered over mere civilians at 9 feet tall.

It looks like this costume was a huge hit later that night too!
